Livelihood, and
Reputation are on the Line
Lawrence M. Glasner, J.D., MBA
Lawrence Glasner represents employees in workplace disputes — discrimination and harassment under FEHA, wage-and-hour and Labor Code claims, family and medical leave, and whistleblower and retaliation matters — and occasionally represents employers. Over more than three decades of practice, he has guided clients through high-stakes litigation that is as often emotionally charged as it is legally complex, from the initial demand through settlement or trial. Lawrence also handles elder abuse matters.
Based in Redding, California, Lawrence serves clients throughout Shasta County and the surrounding Northern California counties.
Lawrence is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest peer rating for legal ability and ethical standards. He has been selected for Super Lawyers in Northern California, a peer- and research-driven distinction limited to the top 5% of attorneys in the state, and has been named a Los Angeles Magazine Top Lawyer.
Decades in the courtroom and at the negotiating table have given Lawrence an unusual command of how the other side thinks. He reads legal risk quickly, anticipates an opponent’s strategy, and turns that insight into leverage for the people he represents.
He and his wife, Tamara, have been married since 1983 and have three daughters and five grandchildren. A drummer and guitarist, Lawrence studied under the late Walter Rosenberger of the New York Philharmonic. He is an audiophile, co-wrote an optioned human-rights screenplay with his daughter Jessica, and speaks basic French, German, and some Japanese.
